Pirelli to define clearer tyre regulations

Pirelli Media Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli says it will be working with the FIA to define a clearer procedure following the tyre pressure situation which affected Mercedes at the Italian Grand Prix. Mercedes was investigated after the race when its tyre pressures on the grid were deemed to be too low, following a tweak to the recommended minimum limit after a couple of tyre failures in Belgium. Mercedes was later cleared of any wrongdoing when it was concluded that its tyre pressures did not flout the minimum starting pressure of 19.5 PSI when its cars left the garage prior to the race. Following the controversy in Italy, Pirelli says it will work with the FIA to clarify the situation...
