Nico Rosberg: “Giving up is not an option”

Nico Rosberg was disappointed to see his championship chances take a big hit when he was forced to drop out of a podium place during the Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza with an engine failure, but the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS driver insists he will not be throwing in the towel. Rosberg was using an engine that was racing its sixth event of 2015 in Italy after the upgraded engine he used during practice was replaced following an issue, but it was an event too far for it, and the German admitted the retirement ‘hurt’. “This weekend was very tough for me,” said Rosberg. “There were just too many problems with my car which made it impossible to fight for the win....
