Mercedes identify Nico Rosberg's Saturday engine issue

Italian Grand Prix – Mercedes have released details about the engine problem that has compromised Nico Rosberg's weekend, as well as giving Lewis Hamilton's power unit the all clear. Nico Rosberg was forced to switch to an older power unit after FP3 on Saturday after a problem on the new spec Merc engine was found. Paddy Lowe explained after qualifying that the unit Rosberg had swapped back to had already completed five Grands Prix; something that may account for Rosberg's lack of qualifying pace.
