Hamilton puts it on pole again in Italy

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton took his seventh pole position in a row and his 12th of the season on Saturday in qualifying for the 2015 F1 Italian Grand Prix. Hamilton, who had been quickest in all three practice sessions, set the pace throughout quali, posting a 1 minute 23.397 second lap in the top-ten shootout to leave him 0.234s up on Kimi Raikkonen’s Ferrari. It was the Briton’s 49th career pole position and comes as he looks to extend his 28-point Championship lead. Meanwhile, Sebastian Vettel came in third giving the Scuderia further reason to cheer on home soil in front of the tifosi. Nico Rosberg improved on his final lap in Q3, but could do no better than fourth, 0.018s off...
