Nico Rosberg tops times ahead of crash

Nico Rosberg continued to top the timesheet in the second practice session of the Belgian Grand Prix, despite a shortened session for the German as he suffered a high speed tyre failure. Having topped first practice, Rosberg continued to stay fastest, ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Daniel Ricciardo, creating the same top three as in the morning. Rosberg was fortunate to come to a standstill in the run-off area of the high speed Blanchimont corner, following a blown left rear Pirelli tyre. Sauber Driver Marcus Ericsson was less fortunate and brought out the red flags close to the end of the session.
