Button backs Montoya's proposal to 'spice up' F1

Former Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya has offered some advice to make F1 exciting again with immediate effect and it's an idea that has Jenson Button's support too. The Colombian, who previously raced for Williams and McLaren, proposes that the sport bans tyre and brake temperature sensors in effort to put the cars back under the control of the drivers, which he described as "lazy" and reliant on too much engineer input. "If you take all that away it becomes a feel thing again," he added. Button, who raced against Montoya, backed the idea when it was put to him recently: "That’s how it was in the past," he told Auto Motor und Sport....
