Rosberg stays ahead in second practice

Mercedes AMG Petronas Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg continued to set the pace during the second practice session for this weekend’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Rosberg, who was victorious at the circuit in 2013, posted a time of 1:34.155 to end the session 0.347s clear of Ferrari rival Kimi Räikkönen. Sebastian Vettel was third while Lewis Hamilton finished in fourth place to ensure that the leading Mercedes and Ferrari quartet was covered by less than half a second. Daniil Kvyat was fifth for Red Bull, ahead of team-mate Daniel Ricciardo, as the squad ensured it remained within a second of Rosberg’s leading time.
