Nico Rosberg & Mercedes under investigation for FP1 infringement

British Grand Prix – Nico Rosberg & Mercedes have drawn the attention of the race stewards after an infringement during FP1. Nico Rosberg has had an exciting morning at the Silverstone Circuit. While vying with teammate Lewis Hamilton for fastest time in the opening stages of the first practice session, Rosberg drew to the side of the track with a mechanical problem. This turned out to a gearbox hydraulic leak, meaning that Rosberg required a new gearbox. Recovered to the pits, the Mercedes team did a great job to kit Rosberg's car out with a new unit and get him back out on track; the German driver ended the session with the quickest time after a late dash.
