Horner extends contract with Red Bull

– Christian Horner has extended his contract with Red Bull, the team has confirmed to GPUpdate.net.Amid a challenging start to the 2015 campaign, and threats from Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz to quit Formula 1, rumours had gathered pace that Horner's position at the outfit was at risk.But this has been brushed aside, with Red Bull confirming that he recently signed an extension.Horner was appointed as Red Bull's Team Principal ahead of the drinks giant's debut Formula 1 season in 2005, and oversaw its transformation from a midfield squad to multiple World Champions.After securing a maiden podium in 2006, and winning for the first time in 2009, the team enjoyed its most...
