Fifth place Hulkenberg surfing on confidence
Nico Hulkenberg admits he is 'surfing on a good wave' at the moment as he turned in one of the best qualifying performances of his career with a surprise fifth place for the Austrian Grand Prix. In the final race for the current generation VJM08 before it is phased out for the upcoming B-spec car, Hulkenberg is well placed to give it one last hurrah from the third row after squeezing between the Williams' in Q3. Though Hulkenberg admits it will be difficult to hold that position come race day, he is confident of getting more points on the board. “I am very happy!
