Vettel coy over engine upgrade hopes

Sebastian Vettel is refusing to be drawn on his expectations from Ferrari's much discussed engine upgrade, but is hopeful it will bring performance gains. This week Ferrari was confirmed to have used three tokens towards developing its power unit ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix, raising expectations that the team could make a step forward in challenging the might of Mercedes. However, Vettel would not give much away about the developments, saying he will wait until he tries it on track before drawing any conclusions. “Hopefully [we will get more] performance, it is as simple as that,” he said.
