'F1 has made every track boring' claims Bourdais

Former Formula 1 driver Sebastien Bourdais says the sports overly complicated safety rules have made every track on the calendar "boring" and "vanilla". The Frenchman, who drove for Toro Rosso in 2008 and 2009, now races in IndyCar where he has proved to be successful, winning two races, most recently last weekend in Detroit. "It's challenging [racing] on concrete. Driving in the rain at Detroit, it's tougher than any Formula 1 track, including the streets of Monaco," he told the Detroit Free Press.
