Manor passes FIA crash tests in time for Australia

Getty Images Enlarge The Manor Marussia F1 team has hurdled the final major obstacle ahead of its return to the grid this year after its car passed the necessary crash tests to allow it to take part. The team announced on Wednesday that it would make next week's Australian Grand Prix after coming back from the brink if extinction over the winter. Fresh investment from the founder of Ovo Energy, Stephen Fitzpatrick, enabled the team to come out of administration and its cars are now due to fly to Australia on Friday.
