Grosjean encouraged by Lotus testing progress

+ Romain Grosjean has hailed Lotus’ testing progress after topping the final day of the first Barcelona test. Grosjean ended the day fastest with a soft tyre run in the afternoon, producing a lap of 1:24.067 – the best of the week – at the wheel of the Lotus E23. The Frenchman managed 111 laps on what was a windy day at the Circuit de Catalunya, as he concentrated on performance assessment. “It was great to get behind the wheel of the E23 once more,” he said, after completing his first day back in the car on Sunday. “Conditions were pretty tricky with quite a bit of wind, especially early on, but the car ran well, meaning we could complete the tests we wanted to –...
