Reports: Honda permitted to develop engine throughout 2015

Honda has emerged victorious from its bid to develop its new power unit throughout the 2015 Formula 1 season after originally being told by the FIA that it would not be allowed to introduce updates beyond the pre-season homologation date, according to reports. Due to a loophole in the regulations, Mercedes, Renault and Ferrari are now allowed to save some of their upgrade ‘tokens' to use throughout the season instead of sticking with the engine that they bring to the Australian Grand Prix.
