Bianchi begins rehabilitation therapy, family confirms
+ Jules Bianchi’s condition remains unchanged, but he has begun a programme of rehabilitation therapy as he continues to fight in hospital, his family has confirmed.
Bianchi suffered severe head injuries after colliding with a recovery vehicle in an accident in the closing stages of the Japanese Grand Prix in October.
The Frenchman was transferred from Japan to the Intensive Care Unit of Le Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice in November, and while his neurological status remains unchanged, his family say he has started a programme of rehabilitation, which they have warned will be a slow process.
