Lotus F1 protégé Ocon to contest RoC
Newly-crowned FIA European F3 champion, and Lotus F1 protégé, Esteban Ocon is the latest names added to the entry for this year's Race of Champions in Barbados. The French youngster enjoyed a dominant year, taking nine race wins en route to the FIA title in his rookie season. Along the way he defeated a wealth of driving talent, including Max Verstappen, who has already been signed up to race for Toro Rosso in F1 next year. The performance has put 18-year old Ocon in the frame for his own step up to the top echelon, particularly as he impressed during tests for both Lotus and Ferrari at Valencia and Fiorano respectively He will now round off his brief F3 career with an outing in this...
