Rosberg: 'Nothing I could do'

Nico Rosberg says he knew his Singapore GP was over when he failed to get away on the formation lap due to electronic problems which lead to his second retirement of the season. After being pushed into the pitlane, the German battled on for 14 laps under the lights at the Marina Bay, but struggled to even muster the pace to challenge Marcus Ericsson's Caterham due to the ongoing gremlins.Rosberg's car would change up two gears every time he upshifted causing the revs to die on his W05 and had no electrical power to compliment his internal combustion engine.That coupled with having none of the remaining functions on his steering wheel working meant even finishing in the top ten was unlikely...
