Vergne: It is how it is
Jean-Eric Vergne reckons even if he had won grand prix Toro Rosso would not have retained him for 2015 as it is a young driver's team.
Last month Toro Rosso announced that they would be parting ways with Vergne at the end of this season with his race-seat going to teenager Max Verstappen.
The announcement did not come as a shock to many as this is 25-year-old's Vergne's third season with the Red Bull junior team. And even he concedes his time at the team, known for blooding young drivers, was coming to an end.
Asked how 'difficult is it still to digest your sudden departure from Toro Rosso', he told the official F1 website: "It wasn't, and isn't, easy - but it is how it is.
