Williams fixed on maintaining third

Williams Martini Racing Williams's primary focus for the remainder of 2014 is to beat Ferrari to third place in the Constructors' championship, according to head of vehicle performance Rob Smedley. Williams has enjoyed a revival in 2014 following a dismal 2013 campaign in which the Grove-based squad amassed just five points. This year, the outfit has claimed 177 points and five podium positions to lie third in the teams' table, 15 points ahead of Ferrari. Smedley says that their aim is now to resist Ferrari across the remainder of the year and cement their current position, starting in Singapore this weekend.
