Albers resigns as Caterham CEO

Sutton Images Enlarge Christijan Albers has resigned as CEO of the Caterham F1 Team and will be replaced by Manfredi Ravetto. Albers was brought in to manage the takeover of the team when Tony Fernandes sold it to a consortium of Swiss and Middle Eastern investors advised by Colin Kolles. Albers was also the team principal but has now decided to leave the team for "private reasons". "Over the past months I have dedicated all my energy to ensure the takeover of the team would go as smoothly as possible and to achieve the best possible result for our investors, sponsors and all the people involved with Caterham F1 Team," he said.
