Kvyat set for first engine penalty of 2014
Daniil Kvyat is expected to become the first driver of the season to take a grid drop because of an engine change after Toro Rosso put a new V6 into his car at Monza on Friday evening. It is the Russians sixth engine of the year. Under 2014 regulations, each driver is allowed to use no more than five of any of the six power unit components over the course of the season, those components being the engine, MGU-K, MGU-H, energy store, turbocharger and control electronics.
