Massa slowed by tyre debris

Williams Martini Racing Felipe Massa says his race was scuppered by debris which became lodged in his Williams FW36 and ruined his chance of collecting a good result at the Belgian Grand Prix. While Williams team-mate Valtteri Bottas was able to claim his fourth podium of the season, Massa struggled to 13th place after collecting tyre debris which originated from Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes. "Unfortunately at the beginning of the race I had some tyre debris stuck in the floor that came from Hamilton’s car and this made the car very slow, losing about two seconds per lap," he said.
