Ecclestone pays up
Bernie Ecclestone's legal troubles are behind him as a German court has confirmed his $100 million payment has been received.
Ecclestone offered to pay $100 million to put an end to his bribery trail in Munich.
He was charged with paying a $44 million bribe to a former German banker to facilitate the sale of F1 from BayernLB to CVC.
Last week, the Munich court approved the agreement and gave Ecclestone a week to make the payment.
On Wednesday, the court confirmed that he had paid up on time.
The F1 supremo, though, need not worry about his bank balance taking a hit as he worth an estimated £6billion.
