Vettel expected to finish on the podium

– Reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel rued his strategy after believing that a podium finish was possible during the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.Vettel, who started from the front row of the grid, slipped to fifth at the start and stopped twice during the race, whereas Red Bull team-mate Daniel Ricciardo executed a one-stop strategy on his way to third.Vettel finished in fifth place following a scrap with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and he admitted that the radio messages exchanged during their battle 'got silly'."It felt very close with Fernando – maybe a bit too close!
