Hamilton takes charge in second practice

Following a suboptimal first practice session in the morning, Lewis Hamilton took charge during the second session of the day at Silverstone. At his home race he topped Nico Rosberg and Fernando Alonso. While the Mercedes drivers changed order compared to the morning session, third and fourth fastest are still the same with Fernando Alonso again the closest competitor. Behind him, Red Bull put up a challenge while Valtteri Bottas put some smiles on the faces at Williams following a dismal first practice session for the team. In the middle of the pack, McLaren and Toro Rosso appear to be doing fairly well while both Lotus drivers continued to fight their cars with visible ill handling. Force...
