Marcus Ericsson instructed to start Monaco GP from pit-lane
Marcus Ericsson has been instructed to start the 78-lap Monaco Grand Prix from the pit-lane, following on from his incident with the Williams of Felipe Massa towards the latter stages of the opening segment of the qualifying hour. After seemingly slowing to let the the Caterham through, Felipe Massa was collected by Marcus Ericsson who ran wide at turn five.
Whilst Marcus Ericsson was once again eliminated from proceedings after the opening segment along with Caterham team-mate Kamui Kobayashi, Felipe Massa was frustratingly forced to sit out of the second segment due to damage, despite progressing through along with his Williams team-mate.
