Alonso on top in rain-affected second practice

ernando Alonso came out on top in Thursday afternoon's rain-affected second practice session for the Monaco Grand Prix. After the track had dried up, the Ferrari driver used a set of Super Soft tyres to record a 1:18.482, placing him comfortably clear of Mercedes's Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel.More to follow.Saturday's final practice session in Monaco gets underway at 11am local time (GMT +2)
