Maldonado given 5 place grid penalty for Gutierrez collision

April 6th, 2014 (F1 Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Pastor Maldonado has been given a five place grid penalty and three penalty points for causing a collision with Esteban Gutierrez.  The Lotus driver made contact with Gutierrez at Turn 1 when exiting the pits. The collision resulted in the Sauber being flipped over.  During the race Maldonado was handed a 10 second stop and go penalty. After the race the stewards gave him a five place grid penalty for the Chinese Grand Prix and three penalty points.  "The driver of car 13 caused a collision with car 99 in turn 1." a statement from the stewards read.  Sauber tweeted that Gutierrez was 'ok' and had undergone checks at...
