Haas meets pretty intense FIA over F1 bid
Gene Haas has spoken about a “pretty intense” meeting with the FIA regarding his application to join F1.NASCAR team owner Haas has said that he is “serious” about his bid to join the grid in 2015 or 2016 after the FIA invited applications from prospective new teams at the start of the year. With the deadline having passed, Haas is the only person to have publicly declared his interest and he says he has been grilled by motorsport's governing body about his plans. “After Daytona we went over to Geneva, Switzerland,” Haas said. “We met with the FIA.
