Bahrain to name corner after Schumacher

The Bahrain International Circuit has announced that it is to name the first corner of the BIC track after seven-time F1 world champion Michael Schumacher.The Middle Eastern venue, which is currently hosting the third and final test ahead of the 2014 season, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, a milestone it will mark by naming the challenging first corner after the man who triumphed in the inaugural Bahrain Grand Prix and still holds the lap record.A fitting way to pay tribute to a man who also had input in designing the venue – in particular the turn one right hander -, BIC chairman Zayed Al Zayani says it is a great honour to be naming a corner after F1's most decorated...
