Valsecchi claims he's not been paid by Lotus
Davide Valsecchi has revealed that he's yet to be paid by the Lotus team for his third driver responsibilities throughout 2013. The Italian's claims won't help to quell fears about the team's finances which are known to be tight after they also failed to pay Kimi Raikkonen's rumoured £12 million ($20m, €15m) salary. Valsecchi revealed that, whilst his salary is tiny in comparison, he's not yet received a penny, though he's confident he will soon. "According to my contract, my salary was like that of a waiter," he revealed to F1Passion. "They [Lotus] haven't paid me yet," but he noted that Lotus have "always behaved well towards [him].
