Mercedes beat Ferrari for second but Hamilton loses third

Mercedes secured second place in the constructors’ championship this season beating contenders Ferrari and Lotus for the spot but its driver Lewis Hamilton lost his hold on third place in the drivers’ standings. At the Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday, Nico Rosberg finished fifth while Hamilton, who got involved in a collision for which he was handed a drive-through penalty, ended up in ninth.
