Vettel surprised by pole position margin

Sebastian Vettel says he is surprised by the gap to his nearest rival in qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix. The German driver stormed to his 45th career pole position by six tenths of a second in wet and challenging conditions at the Interlagos circuit. The top 10 shoot-out was delayed due to heavy rain, but he was amazed by the amount of water that had cleared by the time the cars took to the track for Q3. The four-time world champion completed his first lap on the full wet tyre but soon realised that the conditions were right for the intermediates.
