2013 Indian GP unlikely to be cancelled
Despite calls for the current edition of the Indian Grand Prix to be axed, the event is expected to go ahead without much fuss, F1Pulse.com has learnt. On Thursday, a petition was filed to call off the race citing that the organisers had allegedly not paid the entertainment tax for last year’s edition of the Grand Prix. The Supreme Court will hear the petition on Friday but it may rule in the favour of the organisers – at least for the time being. A source - a legal expert - suggested that the judicial body will be “reasonable enough” to allow the Grand Prix to continue provided the organisers reason the “potential embarrassment it will cause to the country...
