Sirotkin conducts F1 demo with Sauber
Sergey Sirotkin got his first run in an F1 car at the Sochi International Street Circuit in Russia on Friday.The 17-year-old blasted the Sauber C31 - the team's 2012 F1 car - along the 700 metres of tarmac that have been finished at the track, which will host the inaugural Russian Grand Prix next October.The event was part of the 12th International Investment Forum.“These were my first metres in an F1 car, which obviously is something very special, even though it was only a short part of the Sochi track,” said the youngster.“Nevertheless I was able to gain a first impression, and this was awesome.
