Caterham restructures Technical Department

Caterham F1 Team has announced the restructuring of its Technical Department, as the squad seeks to fulfil its long-held ambition of finally breaking into the midfield ahead of the planned 2014 regulation changes. The principal changes involve current Operations Director Jody Egginton being immediately promoted to Deputy Technical Director, with Performance Director John Iley also due to broaden his role to include the management of an Advanced Projects Group. The newly formed body will exclusively deal with future technical innovations, with the view of applying them to the Formula 1 team.
