Räikkönen philosophical about retirement
Lotus driver Kimi Räikkönen refused to be too downbeat despite suffering his first retirement with the outfit during Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps. The Finn, whose 28-race run of points finishes also comes to an end, was attempting to pull off a move on Ferrari rival Felipe Massa at the final chicane when his brakes failed, forcing him to return to the pits and abandon his E21 machine after 25 laps.
