Raikkonen tests GP3 car in Spain
r Kimi Raikkonen tested a GP3/13 car at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain in order to assist the development of the series.
Raikkonen tested the car on different compounds of tyres in order to find solutions for GP3′s difficulty with overtaking this season.
Raikkonen completed 58 laps, with a best time of 1:34.780.
'I wanted to test the GP3/13 because my friend Afa Heikkinen [Koiranen GP] has a team in this Series and I have been closely following their progress and results since the beginning of the season,' he said.
