Ferrari to supply engines to Marussia in 2014

Marussia will be parting ways with current engine supplier Cosworth to use Ferrari units from 2014 onwards, the team announced on Tuesday. The agreement of the new technical partnership includes a full Ferrari powertrain including the supply of an internal combustion engine and energy recovery system, full transmission and all related ancillary systems. “The importance of this development to our team cannot be overstated,” said CEO Andy Webb in a statement highlighting Marussia’s commitment to Formula 1.
