No fourth day at Young Driver Test

The FIA has confirmed that the up-coming Silverstone Young Driver Test will not be extended to four days. Silverstone will host the test from the 17th to the 19th of July with Pirelli bringing tyres to the test that they will run in Hungary. Despite the additional running needed to be done with the new compounds, the FIA has said no to an extra day of running. That puts pay to Mercedes attempt to test at the event and get some crucial running done on Pirelli's updated tyre range. Pirelli will bring extra sets of their new tyres – which will be the 2012 construction with the 2013 hard, medium and soft compounds – so teams can gather data and experience on the tyres before they...
