Vettel can't match 'phenomenal' Hamilton

Sebastian Vettel described Lewis Hamilton's pole position lap for the British Grand Prix as "phenomenal". The Mercedes pair of Hamilton and Nico Rosberg locked out the front row at Silverstone, with Hamilton 0.45s clear of his team-mate. As Vettel was over 0.6s behind Hamilton he admitted it was too big a gap and said Hamilton had delivered "something special" which Red Bull couldn't have bettered. "Honestly I'm very happy today; I don't know if Lewis either found some shortcuts or if he has something special round here," Hamilton said.
