Vettel applauds 'phenomenal' Hamilton lap

Reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel has heaped praise on Mercedes rival Lewis Hamilton for delivering a "phenomenal" lap during Saturday afternoon’s qualifying session for the British Grand Prix, admitting that the Briton was out of reach. During the final top ten shootout phase, Vettel had to settle for third on the grid, just ahead of team-mate Mark Webber and six tenths adrift of the ultimate pace.
