Test row is with Mercedes, not Pirelli - Horner

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner says Mercedes has to take the blame for the tyre testing row and not Pirelli. Pirelli requested a 1000km tyre test with Mercedes in order to work on potential safety fixes from the Canadian Grand Prix onwards and its 2014 tyres. Red Bull and Ferrari protested that Mercedes was in breach of regulations having used a 2013 car for the test, and Horner said it didn't matter if Pirelli is allowed to carry such a test. "Your contracts with your suppliers are irrelevant - in our opinion - to the commitment of a team," Horner said.
