Räikkönen predicting better race pace

Kimi Räikkönen is confident that Lotus will be able to demonstrate stronger race pace at the Circuit de Catalunya on Sunday afternoon, with the Finn having to settle for the final spot on the second row at the end of a Mercedes-dominated qualifying session. Räikkönen, who starts alongside reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel, has been able to climb up the order from relatively low starting positions throughout the season so far and believes there should be possibilities to do the same at Barcelona.
