Pirelli investigating tyre delamination for Di Resta

Pirelli's Motorsport Director Paul Hembery has revealed that the tyre supplier are investigating the tyre delamination suffered by Paul Di Resta. The Force India driver suffered a left rear tyre failure as he entered the pit straight at the Circuit de Catalunya during the second practice session. The problem occurred on the medium compound tyre and is something that the firm are not looking into. Talking in a post-practice press release, Hembery said 'Obviously there was a problem in the final part of FP2 that affected the medium tyre on the Force India of Paul di Resta and we’re going to investigate the cause of that fully.'
