Button satisfied to obtain maximum

Jenson Button believes that McLaren achieved the maximum result possible during qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix. Button toured around the circuit in Q3 on prime tyres, ensuring that he will start the race from eighth place. 'Our aim was to be the first Prime-tyre runner on the grid and we did that,' he said. 'This was the best we could do with what we have.' McLaren has struggled during the opening two races of 2013 but the Brit feels that his Q2 pace shows there is cause to be optimistic.
