Marussia reveals elegant MR02

Marussia F1 have today revealed their new 2013 car, named MR02 on the start finish straight at Jerez. The launch itself was low-key, with the unveiling happening early in the morning when the sun was still coming up. The new Marussia will be initially driven by Max Chilton. The car is generally an elegant design in a livery that is changed from 2012 but maintains the same red and black team colours. The launched car lacks a lot of small aerodynamic appendages and featuring a fairly low nose. The MR01 already features such a low nose as the team last year aimed to avoid the a stepped nose, reducing somewhat of the airflow potential underneath the car. More to follow
