Button predicts strong partnership with Perez
By Editor on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 2009 world champion Jenson Button reckons that he can embark on a strong partnership with new McLaren recruit Sergio Perez.
Perez replaces Lewis Hamilton at the team and Button thinks the Mexican will be a positive addition to McLaren.
'It’s always interesting to have a new team-mate – there’s that inevitable getting-to-know-you period when you’re settling in, but I’m really pleased to have Checo at Vodafone McLaren Mercedes,' he said. 'We all saw what he was capable of doing behind the wheel of a Sauber last year and I think he’s a very good addition to this team.'
