Sauber C32 passes crash tests

Sauber has become the first team to announce that its 2013 car has passed the mandatory FIA crash tests. The C32 is the first car since James Key left the team at the start of 2012, but with relative stability in the rules the car is expected to be an evolution of the C31 which secured four podiums in 2012. The team has confirmed that the new car has already completed all the required tests which will allow it to run from the start of pre-season testing. "The C32 chassis and safety structures have passed their FIA safety tests," Sauber wrote on Twitter. "So, fully homologated and ready for winter testing (5. Feb)."
